Office 2007 and Open Office compatibility

   Apparently Microsoft's new XML standard for the Office 2007 suite will be open-source.  According to Novell they plan on releasing software that will translate the office documents and spreadsheets to OpenOffice format.

Microsoft and Novell are working together on the translation standards.  This will allow Microsoft's Office suite towork seamlessly with opensource suites on the market.
