Increases in spyware and adware instances are the trend for the holiday season this year.  More than one third of employees do their holiday shopping from their office computers according to scansafe.com.   This creates a large problem for IT departments trying to defend against spyware at the office.
 
According to lycos 50 daily report Spyware has beaten poker for the most popular internet search.
