AMD & Intel to face off with Quad core processors

   Apparently AMD has thrown the gauntlet down to Intel's new line of Quad core processors challanging that the processors are not true Quad core processors, but are instead two dual core processors on the same chip.

AMD plans to release a true quad core processor sometime in 2007 which will  purportedly outperform the Intel quad core processors.  

The current offering of Intel chips on the market outperform the AMD chips currently publicly available.

	I look forward to seeing the AMD true quad core! Can they one up Intel again?

	I read a review of the new AMD Quad Core the other day and it was very sad. It was beaten quite easily in almost every benchmark by the Intel Core Duo. Ouch!
