Wow!    I wouldn't mind having one of these.  At CES 2008, Alienware showed off its new 42-inch curved DLP rear projection display.  Expected to be available the second half of 2008 with an unknown price at this time.

I have someone roaming the floor of CES this week to get interviews for the next episode of my podcast, The Force Field. In particular I am interested in the 3D LCD displays. You don't need glasses for 3D. There are two companies at CES showing off the displays. I have been interested in 3D film and video since I was in high school and am eagerly anticipating the arrival of 3D TV, video and PC displays to the home market.
 
I like the curved DLP displays and 3D would be the ultimate home theater experience.

Wow that's an amazing display. But from that picture it looks like it could crush that small little table at any minute.
