NewsCorp's  Rupert Murdock just announced a $284m (£178m) post-tax profit for the three months to December, proving that his brand of news can drive profits.

Mr Murdoch proclaimed “content is not just king, it is the emperor of all things electronic.”

Rupert Murdock, born Keith Ruper Murdock, is a media Emperor who is the major shareholder and chairman of News Corp. (NWS)

He is the 132nd richest man in the world with a worth of $4 billion Mr. Murdock wants to 'monetize the industry and is working with other 'media' companies to advance this goal. Who is he working with?

He won't say, but one could guess that he might be discussing things with Barry Diller from Interactive Corp, Brian Roberst of Comcast, Steve Jobs with Apple and maybe even Eric Schmidt from Google Speculation, yes.

Now is the Time To Pay
If Rupert Murdock gets his way, you will have to pay something. Perhaps people will get used to paying a few dollars for the things they want to do.

Ruperts Stock NWS is UP 5.5% when the general markets are down at the time of this posting. Looks like the stock market is telling us something about the future of monitization of the net.
