If you have a password that is saved in an application, but hidden behind asterisks, here is a neat utility called Asterisk Logger that will show you in many instances what the password is.

Get it here: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/astlog.html

I can't remember how many times that tool would have come in handy.

Thats some pretty nifty software, personally I don't like to auto-save my passwords mainly due to security risks, but it also makes sure that I remember it.

If you have the money, you should invest in password commander, very nice piece of software with many functions for administrators

Did any of you notice how easy mozilla is to show some passwords?

If you did auto save your passwords... I wouldnt want anyone getting onto my computer or getting into it.

If you have Mozilla Firefox, try it:

Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords > Yes

Then there are all your saved passwords :)

Nuts!
